Karelia Pie is a thin rye shell, with a cooked rice filling, made from a yeast-free rye dough. They are a traditional Finnish food, served in-place of sandwiches. Enjoy these "pies" on their own, warmed slightly, or topped with egg salad, ham slices, cheese, or even fresh veggies. For your party gatherings, we also make them in cocktail sizes.
Our vegetable pastry is made only from fresh produce which is slightly spiced according to Scandinavian traditional style. The vegetable mixture is cooked and deliciously wrapped within a flaky pastry, which is then baked in the oven to golden perfection.
